Jennifer Walton: Public Relations Manager

Jennifer Walton brings a unique combination of experience in the environment and public affairs to her position as Public Relations Manager at NEON. Jennifer has served in a communication and program management capacity for several environmental non-profits and federal agencies, including the US Forest Service and the National Council for Science & the Environment. Prior to joining NEON, Jennifer was a Marketing & Communications Fellow at Rocky Mountain Institute in Boulder, CO. Jennifer’s Masters research focused on the communication theory and psychology behind encouraging sustainable attitude and behavior change and the construction of communication campaigns toward that endeavor. She holds an M.S. in Technical Communication from Colorado State University and a B.A. in Environmental Public Affairs from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
