Webcast and Results of ESA Survey of NEON

At a Webcast on March 21, 2007, ESA Executive Director Katherine McCarter and panelists James P. Collins (NSF Assistant Director for BIO), David Schimel (CEO of NEON), and Jason Taylor (Education Director of ESA) answered questions from the community about NEON science and education .

NEON Deployment Design

NEON CEO David Schimel invited a group of independent experts in research areas related to the core NEON science requirements to meet in Boulder, Colorado, the week of February 12. Using community responses to the NEON Request for Information (RFI) and the results of the EROS Data Center meeting in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the group evaluated candidate sites, gradients, and experiments.
