Carolyn Calvert brings 25 years of diverse accounting and financial experience to the position of NEON Interim Chief Financial Officer—including 17 years in financial management, six years in public accounting, and two years in internal audit management. She has demonstrated technical expertise, communication and analytical skills, and a proven ability to interface with all levels of personnel, including senior and corporate management. Carolyn has served as CFO for Plexus Scientific, a Federal Government Engineering Environmental and IT design and consulting firm. She has also executed a range of financial management and decision support responsibilities for many other organizations, including: Avaya, Inc./Lucent Technologies, focused on a government line of business for telecommunications systems and implementation; the Northrop Grumman Corp. Electronic Sensors and Defensive Systems Division; and, most recently, BearingPoint, a professional consulting firm in McLean, Virginia, that specializes in IT, technical and financial policy, staff augmentation, and requirement planning.
