Serita Frey

Serita D. Frey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Natural Resources at the University of New Hampshire. She teaches soil microbial ecology, and serves as the Undergraduate Program Coordinator for Environmental Sciences and the Graduate Program Coordinator for Soil Science. Her research focuses on how the composition and diversity of soil microbial communities regulate ecosystem-level carbon and nitrogen cycles in natural and managed ecosystems. She has served as a panelist for the NSF Integrated Carbon Cycle Research Program and the NSF Doctoral Dissertation Improvement Grants Program. In 2007 she served as member of the NEON Experiment “tiger team.”
