Eric Graham is a staff terrestrial plant biologist at the Center for Embedded Networked Sensing, an NSF-funded IT center located at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research involves working closely with electrical engineers and computer scientists to use networked and wireless sensors in ecological studies. His projects have included using cameras to quantify phenological changes in annual and perennial plants, using cable-mounted mobile sensors to quantify the meteorological effects of tropical forest edges, and using energy balance methods for measuring microclimate in alpine fellfield habitats. In 2007 he served on the NEON Site Review Team that visited the San Joaquin and Kerr/Shields candidate sites.
