
Kevin Griffin is Assistant Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory, Columbia University. His fields of interest include plant respiration, forest ecology, and the global carbon cycle. Dr. Griffin earned his B.A. at Whittier, his M.E.S. at Yale University, and his Ph.D. at Duke University. Dr. Griffin’s recent projects include: (1) Environmental Controls on Tree Growth: A Comparison Between the Cascade Brook Watershed of Black Rock Forest, NY and a Native New Zealand Forest and (2) Land-Water Interactions at the Catchment Scale: Linking Biogeochemistry and Hydrology.
