Travis Huxman

Travis Huxman is a broadly trained plant physiological ecologist interested in global change and plant evolution. He is Assistant Professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Arizona. His research focuses on plant physiological processes in an evolutionary and ecological context, with implications for how both ecosystems and organisms function. His questions are based on understanding (1) how plants acquire and allocate resources for survival, growth, and reproduction, (2) how global change impacts these processes, and (3) what the implications of these changes are for ecosystem function. Dr. Huxman received his Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, w00.
