Rob Jackson

Rob Jackson is the Nicholas Chair of Global Environmental Change at Duke University. He is also a professor in the Biology Department and Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences. Dr. Jackson earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Rice University, and an M.S. in Ecology, M.S. in Statistics, and Ph.D. in Ecology at Utah State University. He is an expert in physiological and ecosystem ecology as well as biogeochemistry. His research examines feedbacks between people and the biosphere, including studies of the global carbon and water cycles, global change, and biosphere/atmosphere interactions. Dr. Jackson has served NEON as a member of the Chief of Science Search Committee.
