Stan Wullschleger

Stan Wullschleger leads the Plant Molecular Ecology Group, Environmental Sciences Division, Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He holds a BS in Forest Management and an MS in Tree Physiology from Colorado State University, and a Ph.D. in Crop Physiology from the University of Arkansas. He has served as a Science Leader in Ecosystem and Global Change Science at Oak Ridge since 1999. His research interests include: plant water relations, individual-based modeling of forest succession, physiological genetics, and advanced instrumentation for the ecological sciences. He has published extensively in such areas as crop and soil science, canopy transpiration and forest water use, and herbaceous bioenergy crops. Dr. Wullschleger served as a member of the NEON preliminary site review team that visited the University of Michigan Biological Station and the Notre Dame Environmental Research Center candidate sites.
